Homeserve gets a Makeover

15/09/2020 Greetings.

2020 has been an eventful and challenging year for all of us in the construction industry but we are seeing signs that things are returning to some level of normality. When lockdown began in March, we were poised to start refurbishments to Coventry Building Society branches in the Bristol area but these were rightly postponed. As lockdown restrictions eased, we were all set to start a school extension project in Birmingham. With our M&E design drawings complete and signed off, the Main Contractor sadly went into Administration. It’s not all doom and gloom though; we have used the lockdown period to reach out to new prospective new Clients and cement long-standing relationships with existing Contractors. We have had engineers on hand to carry out electrical inspections, tests ,condition reports and remedial works for landlords, smaller commercial businesses, and domestic Clients.

Currently, we have engineers working on the new fire alarm installation at HSBC World Headquarters in Canary Wharf, London, alongside our friends at Ventol. WJP were recently awarded the mechanical and electrical project to complete an overhaul of the staff toilets at the Homeserve Headquarters in Walsall, which is nearing completion. We look forward to working on future projects with Homeserve and have been added to their list of Midlands based contractors, for call outs and minor electrical works associated with their boiler installations.

Walter J Parsons join Constructionline

Having already gained accreditation to SAFEcontractor and CHAS we decided to join Constructionline, the UK Government Certification Service scheme,  to further demonstrate our committment to health and safety competency.   Our registration was completed on 30 July 2013 and we are proud to display their logo on our trade affiliations page.

Over the last couple of years we have undergone a quiet transformation to project a new image, as reflected in our re-designed logo. Our offices have been totally refurbished with new computerised systems, double glazed windows, air conditioning and new furnishings. Even the car park had a makeover!

With a fleet of instantly recognisable vehicles, bearing our new bold livery, we are proud to show the world who we are and what we do and invite you to contact us for all your electrical and mechanical installation requirements!
